A. Silva Matos Metalomecânica (ASMM) is a Portuguese SME company established in 1980 and is a manufacturer specialised in pressure vessels and other equipment intended for storage and processing applications within the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Petrochemical, Hydro and Thermal Power Generation, Medicinal and Pharmaceutical storage and processing equipment, among other fields of application namely developing projects related to the sea economy and aerospace technology.

ASMM has the know-how, qualifications and competencies deriving from the research and development in several projects already carried out and the partnerships established with scientific and technological entities. This orientation over the last few years has been printing innovation and differentiation in terms of its products and services and that has resulted in the consolidation of its positioning in its current target markets and ensuring the promotion of its image and notoriety.

ASMM participates in 6 projects Horizon2020 for R+I (mainly as a leader). Other relevant projects – role Manufacter: CERN (European Organization for Nuclear Research), Switzerland; ALMA (Atacama Large Milimiter/Submilimiter Array) – ESO (European Southern Observatory, Chile; Fusion for Energy (F4E), Japan; Max Planck Institute – Germany; EUCLIDES Project, Germany; Turtle – Success Story – European Defence Agency. European project 2017, «From Birth to adult age – the WBL sucessfull Practice“, involves the participation of several national and European partners and is part of the ERASMUS + program in the area of strategic partnerships for vocational education and training.

In Hylantic, ASMM participates in the manufacturing of steel pressure vessels associated to electrolizers and hydrogen storage.
