PURE ENERGY CENTER – R+D+I Department
Pure Energy Center (PEC) are experts in renewables, energy storage, green fuel and smart grids. PEC provides advice, designs, manufactures, installs and maintains energy systems including hydrogen and nitrogen and green fuel for fleets for either ongrid or offgrid applications and storage such as battery and hydrogen storage systems. PEC also install and maintain wind and solar systems.
The PEC has a long lasting transnational experience having worked at EU and international level since its inception and have been partners in an FP7 project and several European INTERREG projects including the award winning AA BATTERIE project.
PEC will lead WP3 which focuses on Capitalisation. It will capitalise on the project’s outcomes through politician’s lobbying, suggesting policy changes, setup a forum and producing a route map. Activities include: lobbying politicians, identification and suggestion of new policy changes for the uptake of renewable hydrogen energy storage, definition of where hydrogen technologies are better than other storage technologies, development of a route map for the implementation of renewable hydrogen technologies, and wide capitalisation of the findings from all WPs through the creation of forum.
PEC will also contribute to the other WPs in the project, collaborating with project partners to ensure the creation of the project outputs. PEC will also work within WP1 and 2 by providing project management and dissemination/communication support to UNICAN. PEC will extend its activities to WP4, 5, 6 and 7, by defining what are the different methods for renewable hydrogen generation (WP4.4), supporting UU in activity 5.1 (safety analysis), 5.3 (modelling), 5.6 (awareness), working to construct a fuel cell for marine application (WP6.2), defining novel control strategies for internal combustion engines (WP6.3) and benchmarking all results in WP7.1 and documenting route to commercialisation (WP7.4).
