Alfredo Ortiz, Rafael Ortiz and Sergio San Martín visited the Company Hidrógena, located in Segovia (Spain) last June 7th, 2018. Hidrógena is the supplier of the electrolyzer that will be used for hydrogen production testing, within the European project HYLANTIC.
On April 24th,2018 the General Directorate of Innovation, Technological Development and Industrial Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the European Technology Platform for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells, organized by the “European Regional Workshop on Hydrogen and Fuel Cells. Rafael Ortiz, member of the University of Cantabria team, attended the European Hydrogen Energy Conference – EHEC 2018, celebrated in Málaga (Spain) last March 14-16, 2018, where he presented his progresses in the HYLANTIC project. During the congress he presented his poster“POWER TO GAS: Integration of wind renewable energy for Hydrogen generation as a future energetic vector in the Atlantic area”.
Gema Pérez, doctor in Chemical Engineering and Rafael Ortiz, Master in Industrial Engineering have recently joined the European project “Atlantic Network for Renewable Generation and Supply of Hydrogen to promote High Energy Efficiency – HYLANTIC”. The project, coordinated by the University of Cantabria, count on with partners from Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland, France and Portugal.
Dr. Alfredo Ortiz, as coordinator of HYLANTIC Project and Dr. Javier Pinedo on behalf of APRIA Systems, attended the seminar “Seminario Financiero para Beneficiarios y Controladores” of the INTERREG ESPACIO ATLÁNTICO: PROYECTOS PRIMERA CONVOCATORIA programme, celebrated in Madrid, last April 10th, 2018. The event was organized by Ministry of Finance and Public Function through the General Directorate of European Funds.
The HYLANTIC project (Atlantic Network for Renewable Generation and Supply of Hydrogen to promote High Energy Efficiency) organized the Kick Off Meeting on the 5th of December in Santander (Spain). The main objective of this project is to promote renewable energy COMPETITIVENESS IN THE ATLANTIC AREA BY INTEGRATION of THE HYDROGEN ENERGY MARKET THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW AND ADVANCED SYSTEMS TO SUPPLY strategic SECTORS along the Atlantic coast and developing a world leading position in the field of energy efficiency through the use of renewable energy.
